The World’s Most and Least Peaceful Countries [Infographic]

Out of all countries, the U.S. experienced the greatest decline in peace, falling 11 places. Iceland was named the world’s most peaceful nation ahead of New Zealand, Portugal, Austria and Denmark. At the opposite end, unsurprisingly, peace levels were lowest in Syria. It is preceded in the ranking by Afghanistan, Iraq, South Sudan and Yemen.
