{"id":105014,"date":"2018-01-15T12:00:36","date_gmt":"2018-01-15T12:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/?p=105014"},"modified":"2018-01-15T10:53:49","modified_gmt":"2018-01-15T10:53:49","slug":"to-a-goddess","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/2018\/01\/to-a-goddess\/","title":{"rendered":"To a Goddess"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greying gleaming silk the waters of this evening,<br \/>\nShroud-like mists, their white along the distant line<br \/>\nAnd closing in<\/p>\n<p>So smooth the crescents folding forward as I swam<br \/>\nNo thought but sweeping arms and curvature and hollows<br \/>\nTaking on the dark and light<\/p>\n<p>Until a flash from far and gone and near another<br \/>\nSo I pause, the grey-white-silver skies and sea<br \/>\nAre one, and I<\/p>\n<p>And there they rise in pairs,<br \/>\nTheir arc a herald or a miracle reminding<br \/>\nOn this silken gently rippling threshold<br \/>\nOf our quests and beauty\u2019s solace<br \/>\nAnd our cries<\/p>\n<p>Far out from land I gazed and followed them<br \/>\nAs long as heart could bear of gladness,<br \/>\nStill a moment, then I turn<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps you saw me as I stepped ashore<br \/>\nRavaged by mists and joy and the glowing dark,<br \/>\nYou heard and saw,<br \/>\nMy dear companion of the sea and sky<br \/>\n__________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/EmanuelGarcia-e1491387330190.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-87560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/EmanuelGarcia-e1491387330190.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"121\" \/><\/a><em>Dr. Emanuel E.
