\u201cPolitics\u201d: And They Tell Me Not to Spell Out \u201cSh*t\u201d!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>They tell me not to spell out \u201csh*t\u201d!<br \/>\nBut, nothing else quite seems to f*t!<br \/>\nThey claim some folks will look awry<br \/>\nIf I insert the little \u201ci\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing I contemplate:<br \/>\nWhat difference to this warring State?<br \/>\nShould I insist on \u201ci\u201d or \u201cI\u201d?<br \/>\nIs it a case of do or die?<\/p>\n<p>I happily forego the spite<br \/>\nThat tells me I am always right.<br \/>\n(The \u201ci\u201d is like a winking child;<br \/>\nOr beacon lighting up the wild!)<\/p>\n<p>How much is substance, how much form?<br \/>\nHow to get beyond the norm?<br \/>\nHow to take it all in stride\u2014<br \/>\nTo kick the bucket, yet abide?<\/p>\n<p>Some folks I know won\u2019t write out G_d.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve always found that somewhat o_d.<br \/>\nWouldn\u2019t the All-Seeing One<br \/>\nKnow the hearts of everyone?<\/p>\n<p>In this world of counterfe*ts\u2014<br \/>\nPolitical and legal sh*ts,<br \/>\nWhy not ban a word like \u201ck*ll\u201d?<br \/>\nWould that give the perverse a thr*ll?<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re told to read between the lines.<br \/>\nThe sun peeks out between the pines<br \/>\nAnd melts the snow beneath our shoes,<br \/>\nAnd dissipates three months of blues.<\/p>\n<p>Once, scholars quibbled over pins:<br \/>\nHow many angels rubbed their shins<br \/>\nTogether on a pointy head?<br \/>\n(The Reaper came\u2026 and knocked them dead!)<\/p>\n<p>We lose ourselves in petty lies.<br \/>\nWe grope, circumvent, devise<br \/>\nA thousand schemes, overlooked clues.<br \/>\nThe curtain closes on a ruse.<br
