He is also author of <em>Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin&#8217;s Theory<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>The nature of a human being, the mind, consciousness, and a Vedic alternative to Darwin&#8217;s \u2018theory\u2019&#8211;not \u2018science.\u2019 Very articulate and precise explanations in a way that can be understood by everybody.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cremo points out that the Vedic cosmology of ancient India resembles scientific thinking in that it dates the universe in terms of billions of years. He suggests that conscious selves, including humans and animals, entered into earthly bodies that were prepared for them by advanced beings of higher awareness. He describes the differences between Advaita and Dvaita forms of Vedanta.
