A Swiss farmer’s son was for the first time at a ball. He had heard that you are supposed to carry on some whispered conversation with your partner on the dance floor. He thought long and hard what he could say.<\/p>\n
Finally he whispered in his lady’s ear, “Do you like cheese?”<\/p>\n
She said, “No.”<\/p>\n
He was embarrassed that he had asked the wrong question and was trying to think of something else to say.<\/p>\n
After a long while he tried, “Does your brother like cheese?”<\/p>\n
“I don’t have any brother,” she replied.<\/p>\n
