\nJake Lynch<\/strong> is a former <\/em>BBC newsreader, political correspondent for <\/em>Sky News and Sydney correspondent for the <\/em>Independent. He is Associate Professor of Peace Journalism and Director of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Sydney, Australia, and w<\/strong><\/em>inner of the 2017 Luxembourg Peace Prize<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em> Lynch is a member of the TRANSCEND Network for Peace Development Environment<\/a> and advisor for TRANSCEND Media Service<\/a>. He is the co-author, with Annabel McGoldrick, of <\/em>Peace Journalism (Hawthorn Press, 2005), and <\/em>Debates in Peace Journalism, Sydney University Press and <\/em>TRANSCEND University Press<\/a>. He also co-authored with Johan Galtung and Annabel McGoldrick \u2018<\/em>Reporting Conflict: An Introduction to Peace Journalism,’\u00a0which <\/em>TMS editor Antonio C. S. Rosa <\/em>translated to Portuguese<\/a>. His most recent book:<\/em> A Global Standard for Reporting Conflict (Taylor & Francis, 2016).<\/em><\/p>\n

Kimberlye Kowalczyk<\/strong>, former TRANSCEND Media Service Resident Journalist<\/a>, is a member of the <\/em>TRANSCEND Network for Peace, Development and Environment<\/a> <\/em>and director of communication at Peace Mask Project. She has been a <\/em>lecturer at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, founder of Media for Peacebuilding<\/a>, and lecturer at Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts. <\/em>She studied Conflict Transformation at the School for International Training. Kya is originally from Kyoto, Japan. <\/em><\/p>\n

Antonio Carlos da Silva Rosa,<\/strong> born 1946, is founder-editor of the pioneering Peace Journalism website, <\/em>TRANSCEND Media Service-TMS<\/a> (from 2008), an assistant to Prof. Johan Galtung, Secretary of the International Board of the <\/em>TRANSCEND Network for Peace Development Environment<\/a>, and recipient of the <\/strong><\/em>Psychologists for Social Responsibility\u2019s<\/em><\/strong> 2017 Anthony J. Marsella Prize<\/a><\/strong> for the Psychology of Peace and Social Justice<\/em>.<\/em><\/strong> He completed the required coursework for a Ph.D. in Political Science-Peace Studies (1994), has a Masters in Political Science-International Relations (1990), and a B.A. in Communication (1988) from the University of Hawai\u2019i<\/a>. Originally from Brazil, he lives presently in Porto, Portugal. Antonio was educated in the USA where he lived for 20 years; in Europe-India since 1994.
