Upbraiding the ESPN anchor Jemele Hill for calling Donald Trump a \u201cwhite supremacist<\/em>,\u201d the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said on Wednesday that \u201cno one has done more than President Trump to prove that white people are not superior.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s grossly unfair that Ms. Hill sought to portray Donald Trump as an upholder of white supremacy, when everything he says or does directly undermines that whole concept,\u201d<\/em> Sanders said. \u201cAnyone who thinks that Donald Trump is on some mission to make white people look good hasn\u2019t been paying attention.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Sanders urged the ESPN anchor to \u201cdo her homework<\/em>\u201d on Trump before making baseless allegations. \u201cRead his tweets<\/em>,\u201d she said. \u201cListen to his speeches. If you still think Donald Trump is trying to prove that white people are superior, I tip my hat to you.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Ending on a personal note, Sanders said that she was \u201ca hundred-per-cent sure<\/em>\u201d that her boss is not a white supremacist. \u201cDonald Trump cannot even spell the word \u2018supremacist,\u2019 \u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n
