And there are still nuclear weapons in the world.<\/p>\n

They are still on hair-trigger alert, weapons
\nwith no concern for you or me or anyone.<\/p>\n

They are weapons with steel hearts.
\nThere is no bargaining with them.<\/p>\n

They have nothing to say or perhaps
\nthey speak in another language.
\nThey do not speak our language.<\/p>\n

They have only one battle plan
\nand that is utter destruction.<\/p>\n

They have no respect for the laws of war
\nor any laws, even those of nature.<\/p>\n

Another Hiroshima Day has passed
\nand the shadow of the bomb still darkens
\nthe forests of our dreams.<\/p>\n
