\u00b5 \u2013 <\/em>\u03c6<\/em> = fascism\u00a0: This is the big capital formula, applied in France, the country of the people that found a way to take the Bastille, write the Declaration of Human and Civil Rights \u2013 1789 \u2013 and whose motto is \u00ab\u00a0Libert\u00e9, Egalit\u00e9, Fraternit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb (\u201cLiberty, Equality, Fraternity\u201d).<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

5 Dec 2018 –<\/em>\u00a0Emmanuel Micron (\u00b5 \u2013 the Greek letter used as a measurement unity that equals a millionth of a meter, micron) was elected with his slogan: \u00abI don\u2019t represent either right- or left-wing voters\u00bb. We are now observing the result of his words: he and his government are accused by the people of representing \u00abneither left nor left policies\u00bb. A guy that, at his swearing in, stood up over a military jeep in a parade, and once in office at the Elys\u00e9e, slashed the wealth tax, broke the Labour Code, increased the tax on pension holders and reduced the housing aid, even the one granted to students. His political script was already written in advance, in MEDEF\u2019s offices \u2013 the French employers\u2019 organisation \u2013 which explains the promptness and precision of his political action.<\/p>\n

The magnificent emptiness of<\/strong> \u00b5\u2019s slogan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even his famous slogan \u00abMake our Planet great again\u00bb \u2013 used as a counterpoint to Trump\u2019s nationalist anthem \u00abMake America great again\u00bb \u2013 is meaningless now, after the publication of France\u2019s CO2 emissions, rising by 3.2% during his first year in office.<\/p>\n

By the way, his mythical and independent Environment Minister \u2013 Nicolas Hulot \u2013 resigned from office in September, by stating that the environmental policies would never be a priority for this government. And it wouldn\u2019t be his Prime-Minister, \u00c9douard Philippe, from the right- wing party LR \u2013 Les R\u00e9publicains \u2013, former Le Havre Mayor and ex-manager of the giant nuclear power group \u00ab\u00a0Areva\u00a0\u00bb, that will propose an exit from this dangerous power source. So we live with an imminent possibility of a major nuclear Fukushima style accident\u2026 \u00ab\u00a0oh, the wonderful Bordeaux wine, which would then disappear\u00a0\u00bb. If it was only a matter of vineyards\u2026<\/p>\n

A sect of financial big bourgeois and arms merchants<\/strong><\/p>\n

Micron\u2019s Minister of Labour, Ms. Chamber Pot \u2013 her surname (P\u00e9nicaud) always reminds me of the Portuguese the word \u201cpenico<\/em>\u201d = chamber pot \u2013 earned 1.13 million Euros in a stock options capital gain, after her layoff plan as Head of Danone Human Resources Department. Jean-Yves Le Drian \u2013 Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs \u2013 is the arms merchants\u2019 sales representative all over the world. Another one of \u00b5\u2019s novelties in order to spread the so called \u00ab\u00a0western values\u00a0\u00bb \u2013 why deprive himself of sowing war everywhere and generate huge profits for the arms industry, if all the former presidents from the 5th Republic (1958 \u2013 present time) did exactly the same?<\/p>\n

The War Minister, Ms. Parly, even stated that: \u201cAs far as I know, the land equipment sold to Saudi Arabia are not used as offensive materials but for defensive purposes at the Yemen-Saudi Arabia border.\u201d This is the same kind of argument, used in 1986, when French authorities announced that the Chernobyl\u2019s radioactive cloud didn\u2019t cross the French-Germany border.<\/p>\n

The vast majority of \u00b5\u2019s ministers and MPs from the LREM party (\u201cLa R\u00e9publique En Marche!\u201d) that carried Jupiter (as \u00b5 self proclaimed himself) into office, comes from the French business association \u2013 MEDEF \u2013 while pretending that they emerged from civil society. What a wonderful definition of civil society, isn\u2019t it!<\/p>\n

To muzzle, confuse and frustrate the popular opposition<\/strong><\/p>\n

A month ago, and to crown its reign and its military drive, \u00b5 have offered us a series of searches at the political movement \u00ab\u00a0France Insoumise\/Rebellious France\u00bb (fi = \u03c6, the movements\u2019 logo and the Greek letter) headquarters and at some of the movement leaders\u2019 homes. The timing chosen to deploy these attacks coincided with the disastrous \u00b5 opinion polls and fell on the eve of the announcement of a coalition between \u03c6 and some dissidents from the Socialist Party, in order to gather forces for the next 2019 European elections.<\/p>\n

All of these facts lead us to think that the raids were premeditated and can be seen as a kind of political persecution. \u00b5 therefore tries, using a judicial and a media action<\/a>, to remove from the formula, the left-wing opposition \u2013 \u03c6. Just like in Latin America, where almost all of the charismatic left-wing leaders were removed by this powerful justice-media tandem that serves imperialistic and big capital interests. We would like to address a special thought to our friend, still in prison, Lula da Silva<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One must not abandon the streets to fascist forces and ignorants<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recent days we are witnessing a general street protests in France by the popular uprising movement called the \u201cyellow vests\u201d (\u201cgilets jaunes<\/em>\u201d), which peaked the 17th of November with more than 280\u00a0000 protesters. They declare themselves exasperated by the rising of fuel prices and the tax racketeering imposed by \u00b5. They are citizens, mainly from the popular and middle working classes.<\/p>\n

The far-right is trying to infiltrate and absorb the movement. Jean-Luc M\u00e9lenchon \u2013 the \u03c6\u2019s left-wing leader \u2013 has already said that one must support the movement. As a matter of fact, he believes that the uprising and the righteous popular rage must not be abandoned to fascist forces.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s really impressive to observe the resemblance with the trucking strike<\/a> over the fuel prices in Brazil last May. Bolsonaro\u2019s supporters grafted themselves into the movement and confiscated the poor people\u2019s frustration, using easy slogans, with no arguments, and disseminating fake news<\/a>. Bolsonaro just got elected and will be vested in office on the 1st January 2019 as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A kind of customized high-tech History d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu<\/strong><\/p>\n

What a strange world that allows the fascist formulas for power takeover, which look the same everywhere, regardless of culture, country or continent targeted. I\u2019m shocked to live nowadays a remake of History of the 1930\u2019s, a kind of event that I thought impossible to see with my own eyes. What I also observe is that, with all this technological \u00ab\u00a0progress\u00a0\u00bb in social media and internet, all this popular frustration and consequent anger spreads much faster and all over the world. All of these people, confused and frustrated by \u00b5 style politicians \u2013 with a real class contempt \u2013 are more or less easy to snatch by far right-wing movements, in sort of organised groups that appeal to our primary instincts and undermine the Web punch bags with their reptilian argumentation, gaining new followers each day. This is the real globalisation. This is the fascism formula.<\/p>\n
