A report issued yesterday by the Abdullah Al-Hurani Centre \u2013 an affiliate of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) \u2013 stressed that these demolitions were carried out in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention and other international laws.<\/p>\n In the report, the centre said that Israel \u201ccontinues its policy of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem,\u201d pointing out that, in addition to the demolitions, Israel had issued 460 \u201cstop-building orders\u201d during the same period.<\/p>\n Israel\u2019s Civil Administration \u2013 which carries out Israeli policy in the occupied West Bank \u2013 issued a military order to demolish all the targeted buildings less than 30 days before the demolition was carried out, a move the centre sees as aiming to cut short the possibility of appealing such orders.<\/p>\n The report also documented the demolition or closure of 12 Palestinian schools and kindergartens built by the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank.<\/p>\n ________________________________________________<\/p>\n Read: Israel to demolish home of Palestinian prisoner in Yatta<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
