CBS News\u00a0chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan has broken ranks and admitted that journalists have lost their objectivity and become \u201cpolitical activists.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

20 Feb 2019 – <\/em>During an appearance on the\u00a0Mike Drop podcast with retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland, Logan admitted that \u201cthe media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just the U.S.,\u201d adding that it was nearly impossible for viewers to decipher if they were being told the truth at any given time.<\/p>\n

\u201c85% of journalists are registered Democrats<\/strong>,\u201d Logan said. \u201cHow do you know you\u2019re being lied to? How do you know you\u2019re being manipulated? How do you know there\u2019s something not right with the coverage?<\/strong> When they simplify it all [and] there\u2019s no grey. It\u2019s all one way. Well, life isn\u2019t like that. If it doesn\u2019t match real life, it\u2019s probably not. Something\u2019s wrong. For example, all the coverage on Trump all the time is negative. \u2026 That\u2019s a distortion of the way things go in real life<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Logan says that the heavy bias\u00a0has warped people\u2019s ability to know what\u2019s really true<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you turn on your computer, or you walk past the TV, or you see a newspaper headline in the grocery store If they\u2019re all saying the same thing, the weight of that convinces you that it\u2019s true,\u201d said Logan. \u201cYou don\u2019t question it, because everyone is saying it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

She also admitted that\u00a0journalists today are more or less lobbyists for liberal interests,\u00a0<\/strong>adding that the weight of the liberal media machine overwhelms \u201cthe other side\u201d unless\u00a0people actively seek outlets such as Breitbart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Noting recent comments by former New York Times\u00a0<\/em>executive editor Jill Abramson, Logan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough the media has historically always been left-leaning, we\u2019ve abandoned our pretense \u2014 or at least the effort \u2014 to be objective<\/strong>, today. \u2026 We\u2019ve become political activists, and some could argue propagandists, and there\u2019s some merit to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Logan said that\u00a0MSM reports using anonymous or single government sources are bunk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not journalism, it\u2019s horseshit<\/strong>,\u201d she said \u2013 demanding more accountability.<\/p>\n
