\"\"<\/a>Kathleen Malley-Morrison, Ed.D., Director of the Group on International Perspectives on Governmental Aggression and Peace (GIPGAP), <\/em>is a member of the TRANSCEND Network<\/a>, Professor Emerita of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University. She is the author or coauthor of several books, including <\/em>Family Violence in a Cultural Perspective, and<\/em> Family Violence in the United States, as well as editor of the four volume series: <\/em>State violence and the right to peace: An international survey of the views of ordinary people. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters on violence within relationships and nations. \"\"<\/a><\/em>Christine Barie<\/em> hails originally from Upstate New York and began her arts education at a young age under the guidance of her mother, Tamiko Barie, who formally studied kimono dying in her native Japan. Christine graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in printmaking and graphic arts. After graduation in the mid-90\u2019s she left the cows of Upstate behind and accepted a position as a graphic designer for an educational software company. She lives in New York City with her family and one nervous and nippy Chihuahua-mix. Chris is happy to be using her artistic skills and training to promote peace and social justice through <\/em>Engaging Peace.<\/p>\n
