True to its name,\u00a0Humanity United For Universal Demilitarisation<\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0our message remains constant, we must achieve what we propose: live in a\u00a0NON-MILITARIZED <\/em>planet.<\/p>\n

We are happy to announce our<\/strong> \u201cPeace Is Possible\u201d<\/em><\/strong> All-Day Summit. A free event, held at Initiatives of Change (IofC) in LONDON on 17 June 2019.

\"\"<\/a>Among our distinguished guest speakers, we are honoured to have Dave Webb<\/strong>, CND Chair, on his own dissertation; from Uganda, Josephine Apira,<\/strong>\u00a0Acholi freedom fighter and founder member of the Ugandan Sustainable Development Initiative <\/strong>(USDI); and Dr. Victor Olisa QPM,\u00a0ambassador to the Tutu Foundation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Screenings of various films include\u00a0Shadow World,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0based on the acclaimed book\u00a0The Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade<\/em>\u00a0by Andrew Feinstein, former South African MP and Director of Corruption Watch, UK<\/strong>\u00a0War School<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>which raises the issues of the targeting of children by the British Government to promote support for the military. This will be followed by a\u00a0Q and A with the film’s\u00a0director, Mic Dixon.\u00a0We shall also watch\u00a0HUFUD<\/strong>\u2019s own short documentary\u00a0Peace is Possible.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
