This will be followed by a\u00a0Q and A with the film&#8217;s\u00a0director, Mic Dixon.\u00a0We shall also watch\u00a0<strong>HUFUD<\/strong>\u2019s own short documentary\u00a0<strong><em>Peace is Possible.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Panel debates <\/em><\/strong><em>will follow each film and speech. <strong>TRANSCEND MEMBERS<\/strong>\u00a0who are free on 17 June will be most welcome and requested to register as per instructions on flyer. By profession a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apion.org.uk\/tapsim\" >concert pianist and pedagogue<\/a>,\u00a0he\u00a0is an\u00a0active peace campaigner, whose anti-military stance earned him\u00a0a nomination\u00a0for the 2008 Nobel Peace Prize.\u00a0As a result,\u00a0Portugheis wrote\u00a0<\/em>Dear Ahed\u2026..The Game of War and a Path to Peace\u00a0<em>\u2013 a book that has received <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dearahed.co.uk\" >critical acclaim<\/a> .\u00a0 Another successful book followed: <\/em>$$$$$s In Their Hearts<em>. In 2015 he founded the Movement <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hufud.org\" >HUFUD-Humanity United For Universal Demilitarisation<\/a><\/em>, <em>which has many followers worldwide.\u00a0 In 2018 HUFUD Latin America was born, based in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia.
