\nThe river meets the Sea
\nWhen they all dry up
\nWho recognises the lake, the river, the Sea?<\/p>\n

\nThe Earth beseeches the Sky
\nPlease come closer to us
\nWe want no silver or gold
\nJust give us a few drops of rain<\/p>\n

\nThe weather is dry
\nThe Earth is parched
\nWe are afraid about our life
\nLet us hope Lord Indra recognises our plight
\nAnd gives us a few drops of rain<\/p>\n

\nWhen, where, how
\nNow, here, this way
\nThese Q and As we have already been debated
\nAnd discovered we have destroyed our Earth
\nNow let us at least save humanity<\/p>\n

\nThe bird asks the tree
\nWhen will you give us fruit
\nThe tree asks the farmer
\nWhen will you water us
\nThe farmer asks Lord Indradev
\nWhen will you give us rain?<\/p>\n

\nDrop by drop we get the River
\nDrop by drop the Sea is formed
\nA few Drops will quench our thirst
\nPlease save these drops that fall on us<\/p>\n

\nThe fish is the queen of the sea
\nAlive by the waters of the sea
\nIf the sea becomes polluted
\nWho will save our Queen?<\/p>\n

\nWhere are you going my Lord
\nGive me my freedom, my life
\nYour freedom is in your home
\nYes, but give us a few drops of water<\/p>\n

\nThe bird laments out loudly
\nThere is no rain
\nPlease sing Malhar melody
\nThe clouds will help us surely<\/p>\n

\nWhat we missed during the night
\nWhat we saw during the day
\nWill the Earth remain scorched
\nNo, Just ask the Lord for some drops<\/p>\n

\nWake up my friend, wake up
\nDon\u2019t run away from your scorched land
\nThis is your land, your only land
\nWater it and the land will dance in joy<\/p>\n

\nAfter the tears dried up
\nThe thirsty man looked for the clouds
\nThe clouds gazed towards the man
\nI will give you some water
\nAnd your eyes will become wet again
