{"id":141039,"date":"2019-08-26T12:00:08","date_gmt":"2019-08-26T11:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/?p=141039"},"modified":"2019-08-27T06:11:25","modified_gmt":"2019-08-27T05:11:25","slug":"my-infinite-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/2019\/08\/my-infinite-world\/","title":{"rendered":"My Infinite World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am a small person<br \/>\nSmall in age,\u00a0Small in mind<br \/>\nWhat do I understand<br \/>\nOf this large complex land<\/p>\n<p>Where the rich live in plenty<br \/>\nPlenty\u00a0for eating, plenty for throwing<br \/>\nPlenty for wasting<br \/>\nWith the rag pickers competing<br \/>\nWith the cows and dogs eating<br \/>\nThe wasted crumbs that are rotting.<\/p>\n<p>The poor exult when they find something<br \/>\nfor their hungry kids<br \/>\nThey lament when the something becomes nothing<br \/>\nAnd the kids remain hungry and wishing<br \/>\nThat they did not have the hungry feeling.<\/p>\n<p>They look at the mighty and the rich<br \/>\nLiving in big bungalows\u00a0and wonder<br \/>\nIs it our Karma that we are poor<br \/>\nHave little to eat, with no one to care<br \/>\nGet torn clothes to wear?<\/p>\n<p>But I will overcome my Karma,<br \/>\nI will become a good human being<br \/>\nI will make this world a better place<br \/>\nAnd remove poverty and injustice<br \/>\nDespite poverty staring at my face.<\/p>\n<p>How will I overcome my Karma?<br \/>\nFirst I will not give up hope<br \/>\nAnd fight for my right to live<br \/>\nthe life of a human being<br \/>\nNot a rat, a dog or a donkey.<\/p>\n<p>I did not know there is another race<br \/>\nThe race of poor forlorn strugglers<br \/>\nFacing scorn, facing disdain, having no grace<br \/>\nIf life is such a place<br \/>\nI will quit this race.<\/p>\n<p>How?
