Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we see relatively clearly that there are liberal and Marxist conceptions of peace, and perhaps we also see more clearly than before that \u00abliberalism vs. Marxism\u00bb is a false dichotomy\u2014although we still live under the pressure of the false dichotomies, and particularly in the thinking about peace.<\/p>\n

Hence, this essay is an effort to try to indicate, at a very simple, common sense level, that both views are fruitful in conceiving of new forms of peace action, and that they in a sense reinforce each other.<\/p>\n
