13 Sep 2019 – <\/em>Now Twitter is just as corrupt (propaganda-organizations) as Google and Facebook and MSNBC and CNN and Fox and the Washington Post<\/em> and The Atlantic<\/em> and all the rest.<\/p>\n

Caitlin Johnstone nailed it, on September 12th, under the headline \u201cHave You Noticed How Social Media Purges Always Align With The US Empire?\u201d<\/a> and she opened:<\/p>\n

Twitter <\/em>has suspended<\/em><\/strong><\/a> multiple large <\/em>Cuban media accounts<\/em><\/strong><\/a> for reasons the social media platform has yet to explain as of this writing, a move which journalist Dan Cohen <\/em>has described<\/em><\/strong><\/a> as \u201cthe equivalent of silencing CNN, Fox, WaPo and NPR\u2019s accounts\u201d for that nation. The Union of Cuban Journalists <\/em>has denounced<\/em><\/strong><\/a> the move as censorship.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Prior to that, on July 12th, she had headlined \u201c<\/a>Top Assange Defense Account Deleted By Twitter<\/a>\u201d<\/a>, and she reported that, \u201cOne of the biggest Twitter accounts dedicated to circulating information and advocacy for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, @Unity4J, has been completely removed from the site. The operators of the account report that they have been given no reason for its removal by Twitter staff, and have received no response to their appeals.\u201d Four days later, she headlined \u201c<\/a>Twitter Restores Assange Activism Account In Response To Backlash<\/a>\u201d<\/u>, and Twitter will probably do the same this time around, but what about all the times they do this against less prominent<\/em>\u00a0 entities or voices than Cuba or Julian Assange?<\/p>\n

Everybody knows \u2014 Google and Facebook even have help-wanted ads out for \u2014 America\u2019s social media barons hiring censors to restrict what those \u2019social\u2019 media (a.k.a. U.S.-imperialist propaganda-organizations) will allow from \u2019society\u2019 (the billionaire-approved members of it<\/em>, that is) to report.<\/p>\n

And as far as the print and broadcast U.S. media are concerned, they all are peddlers of either the Republican National Committee\u2019s propaganda-line, or the Democratic National Committee\u2019s propaganda-line (each controlled by that Party\u2019s billionaires, its mega-donors); and does it really make any basic difference whether one is seeing propaganda from Republican Party billionaires, or from Democratic Party billionaires?<\/p>\n

Why isn\u2019t the entire world now blacking-out those media \u2014 those agencies of the U.S. international-corporate empire?<\/p>\n

Why aren\u2019t China, and Russia, and Iran, and maybe even India, developing their own competitors against the U.S. billionaires\u2019 media?<\/p>\n

Okay, you might say, RT.com<\/a> was already somewhat that (and more truthful than any of the U.S.-and-allied versions were), before the U.S. Government declared it to be a \u201cforeign agent,\u201d and yet the U.S. regime doesn\u2019t do the same (in effect) banning against the BBC, or against other (U.S.-regime-allied) government-broadcasters. But what\u2019s especially needed, all over the world, are non<\/em>-U.S.-regime competitors (Russian or otherwise), against Google and Facebook and Twitter, etc., and not only<\/em> against the U.S. regime\u2019s \u2019news\u2019-media (NYT, CBS, CNN, NPR, or other).<\/p>\n

When are those start-ups going to appear \u2014 and why haven\u2019t they appeared already? Wouldn\u2019t the competition be terrific for the public! After all: RT is \u2018banned\u2019 but still can be accessed.<\/p>\n

The U.S.-and-allied \u2019news\u2019-media propagandized the entire world to invade Iraq in 2003 on the basis only of U.S.-Government lies, and repeated that evil performance for the invasion of Libya in 2011, and of Syria in 2012 till today. Doesn\u2019t anybody get it? Those \u2018news\u2019-media are the master fake-\u2019news\u2019 propagandists of all \u2014 now decade after decade!<\/p>\n

Maybe some of America\u2019s \u2018enemies\u2019 can produce alternatives that are far more trustworthy than the corrupt, lying, U.S.-and-allied, \u2019news\u2019 and \u2019social\u2019 media versions. Maybe they can all get together and try. And maybe, in the interim, everybody can just explore such non-U.S.-non-billionaires-controlled (media as:<\/p>\n
