Nobody builds education programs, learning frameworks, or curriculum from scratch. We find what\u2019s good. We adapt it. We build on it. We make it our own.<\/p>\n<p id=\"8fe6\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">And there are tons of free resources out there to educate for peace and justice. But what we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/peace-education-logo.png\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-161514\" src=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/peace-education-logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"218\" \/><\/a>encounter is that while some are great, others suck, and sometimes finding what you\u2019re looking for can be like finding a needle in a haystack.<\/p>\n<p id=\"9ad7\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">But after 10+ years working freelance supporting all kinds of groups to develop these kinds of things, let\u2019s just say that I\u2019ve amassed quite the database of resources. And I figure there are plenty of teachers and educators out there who may not want to spend their Saturday nights scouring the Interweb in search of the perfect resource for next week\u2019s lessons, or for building that curriculum framework, or whatevers.<\/p>\n<p id=\"3d4f\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">So to save you some time, and also to tap you into some really great resources you may not have found otherwise, I spent a little time organizing my sh*t and posting it up here for you. Actually, it took me much longer than I expected, but hey, sharing is caring, right?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"ey ez fa fb fc\">\n<div class=\"n p\">\n<div class=\"z ab ac ae af fd ah ai\">\n<h2 id=\"514e\" class=\"ke kf ct bj bi kg fh kh fj ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp\">How I have organized the resources<\/h2>\n<p id=\"0285\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy kq js ga kr jt jk ks gl jm kt gm jo ku gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">100+ educational resources is a lot, so let me just give you a quick overview of how I\u2019ve got all this stuff organized.<\/p>\n<p id=\"18a6\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">I\u2019ve got three main sections:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Peace education theory, frameworks, and strategic planning<\/li>\n<li id=\"b92b\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\">Peace education programs with curriculum materials<\/li>\n<li id=\"0191\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\">Curriculum and training materials by theme<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=\"f865\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The largest section is the last one. If it\u2019s not clear in the resource title, I\u2019ve tried to indicate it in the description. If you\u2019re a genuine educator, then you know how to adapt resources as needed.<\/p>\n<p id=\"5ef1\" class=\"jf jr ct bj jh b fy ji js ga jj jt jk jl gl jm jn gm jo jp gn jq ey\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">I\u2019ve chosen only resources from websites that are complete (i.e. not a bunch of broken links on the site), where there\u2019s no ploy to sell you something, and where websites seem like they will be around for a while.
