His reputation as a resolute defender of the environment and children\u2019s health stems from a litany of successful legal actions. He received recognition for his role in the landmark victory against Monsanto last year, as well as in the DuPont Case that inspired the movie “Dark Waters” (2019). <\/span><\/p>\n

Dershowitz<\/strong> is a Brooklyn native who has been called \u201cthe nation\u2019s most peripatetic civil liberties lawyer\u201d and one of its \u201cmost distinguished defenders of individual rights,\u201d \u201cthe best-known criminal lawyer in the world,\u201d \u201cthe top lawyer of last resort,\u201d \u201cAmerica\u2019s most public Jewish defender\u201d and \u201cIsrael\u2019s single most visible defender \u2013 the Jewish state\u2019s lead attorney in the court of public opinion.\u201d He is the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.
