Occupied, terrorized, genocide
\nwhile the whole world is hypnotized,
\nSixty years, incessant tears
\nno day passes by without countless fears
\nFor our lives, our wives, our children cry
\nyet the world turns away, and our spirits die.
\nFor my land, I do stand
\nbut I remain hopeless without a helping hand,
\nOppression, suppression, depression
\nof every aspect of my life, you’ve taken possession,
\nOur weapons are stones, to protect our homes
\nbut your bulldozers win and terror roams,
\nYours are tanks, helicopters, and military jeeps
\nto kill the young man, as his mother weeps,
\nYou control our electricity, you control our seas
\nyou control our streets, and uproot our trees,
\nYou close our schools, our children can’t learn
\nyou deny the refugees their right to return,
\nSuffering orphans, under your persecution
\nwhen they rise up, they face execution,
\nFamilies are separated, and farmers (merely) recall
\nthe land they lost by your Apartheid Wall,
\nThrough your diplomacy and your foreign relations
\nyou attempt to justify and give credence to your occupations,
\nPalestine is my land, and I won’t let you take it
\nand while you put the world to sleep, I try to wake it.<\/p>\n
