Exactly how the vaccines perform out in the real world will depend on a lot of factors we just don\u2019t have answers to yet \u2014 such as whether vaccinated people can get asymptomatic infections and how many people will get vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Over Half of Adults Over 50 Say They\u2019ll Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19, But Many Will Want to Wait, Poll Finds. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newswise.com\/articles\/over-half-of-adults-over-50-say-they-ll-get-vaccinated-against-covid-19-but-many-will-want-to-wait-poll-finds\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Newswise reported<\/strong>:<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn all, 58% of adults aged 50 to 80 say they are somewhat or very likely to get vaccinated to prevent <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender_category\/big-pharma\/\" >COVID-19<\/a>, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthyagingpoll.org\/report\/older-adults-perspectives-covid-19-vaccine\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new results<\/a> from the National Poll on Healthy Aging from the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>That number went up to 66% when the poll team asked the question a different way: 20% said they\u2019d want to get vaccinated right away when vaccines become available, but 46% said they\u2019d rather wait for others to get vaccinated first before doing it themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pfizer and BioNTech to Request Emergency Authorization From FDA for COVID vaccine. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2020\/11\/20\/covid-19-vaccine-pfizer-will-apply-for-fda-emergency-use-authorization.html\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>CNBC reported<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender\/pfizer-covid-vaccine-questions-safety\" >Pfizer\u2019s<\/a> application is approved, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/childrenshealthdefense.org\/defender_category\/big-pharma\/\" >vaccine<\/a> will likely be limited and rolled out in phases, with health-care workers, the elderly and people with underlying health conditions getting the first inoculations.
