All around the world we have the COVID pandemic
\nWe see people suffering and falling ill
\nHospitals in many places are over full
\nNo beds, no ventilators, no oxygen for the ill<\/p>\n

Relatives, parents of ill children weeping, praying
\nThese days even prayers are being ignored
\nSo what to do \u2014 no hospitals, no reduction in COVID cases
\nGovernment trying beyond its capacity to ward off the tragedy<\/p>\n

Today is<\/strong>\u00a0Ram Navmi (April 21)<\/strong>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Festival celebrated feebly in pain
\nLord Ram the epitome of Truth, Kindness, Compassion
\nO Ram, listen to the millions of prayers
\nShow us that you care, you love your believers<\/p>\n

Come to this land that is\u00a0full of pain and distress
\nCome to us, relieve us of our pain, love us and caress
\nYou are the mighty Ram that was forced into long exile
\nBut who did not forget the basic values of love and kindness<\/p>\n
