18 Jun 2021 – VAERS data released today by the CDC showed a total of 358,379 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 5,993 deaths and 29,871 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and June 11, 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This week\u2019s number of reported adverse events among all age groups following COVID vaccines surpassed 350,000, according to data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System<\/a> (VAERS).<\/p>\n

VAERS<\/a> is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed. Every Friday, VAERS<\/a> makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date.<\/p>\n

Data released today show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and June 11, 2021, a total of 358,379 total adverse events<\/a> were reported to VAERS, including 5,993 deaths<\/a> \u2014 an increase of 105 deaths over the previous week. There were 29,871 serious injury reports, <\/a>up 1,430 compared with last week.<\/p>\n

Of the 5,993 deaths reported as of June 11, 23% occurred<\/a> within 48 hours of vaccination, 16% occurred <\/a>within 24 hours and 38% occurred<\/a> in people who became ill within 48 hours<\/a> of being vaccinated.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In the U.S., 306.5 million<\/a> COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of June 11. This includes<\/a> 128 million doses of Moderna\u2019s<\/a> vaccine, 167 million doses of Pfizer<\/a> and 11 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson<\/a> (J&J) COVID vaccine.<\/p>\n
