Ancient though our country may be
\nWith scholarship in various areas
\nSuch as philosophy, medicine, even archery
\nBut in Tokyo Olympic, India in the bottom category
\nOnly one gold and two medals silvery<\/p>\n

Our ambitious students leaving for Oxbridge, Harvard, MIT
\nBut we still have a large pool of talented students
\nWho excel in Pol Science and Artificial Intelligence AI
\nWhy call it artificial \u2014 it is human brain that shows intelligence<\/p>\n

Some birds like storks and others attracted to Indian soil
\nEarlier they said that storks bring new babies to their parents
\nToday scores arrive in India to welcoming ponds without toil
\nTo the children they bring excitement, flutter and colour<\/p>\n

Birds, most welcome, please fly to this ancient land
\nThat has welcomed invaders and colonialists in the past
\nBut two legged creatures, you bring joy to the wetland
\nAnd enrich the country by colourful plumes and musical sounds<\/p>\n

Others \u2014 two legged people are also welcome
\nCome visit the heritage Taj Mahal and the Himalayas
\nEnjoy the wonderful climate \u2014 rains, snow, cool breeze
\nAnd don\u2019t forget to taste the delicious homemade cheese
