A Poem on our Cosmos<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moon is our beautiful satellite
\nIt changes its appearance for us
\nFrom new moon to the full \u2014 called the Full Moon Night
\nThe Moon has been a source of learning and delight<\/p>\n

Learning for the intelligent folks
\nIt helps them maintain the fortnightly calendar
\nDelight and joy for the lovers among us
\nThey sing songs; express their love for each other<\/p>\n

The Earth itself goes around the Sun
\nIt is called a planet of the Sun
\nAstronomers\u00a0discover new planets
\nLatest one called\u00a0Planet Nine<\/em><\/p>\n

The Stars \u2014 there are billions of them high above in the sky
\nThey shine; they radiate charm and beauty like a sweet pie
\nDespite being so far away from us \u2014 so many light years away
\nA light year \u2014 the distance that light takes to cover in a year<\/p>\n

The brightest star known as\u00a0Sirius<\/em><\/strong>
\nKeeps shining above us
\nWe used to sing\u00a0Twinkle twinkle little star<\/em>
\nHow I wonder what you are<\/em><\/p>\n

Countless stars but a few recognisable like the Pole Star
\nHigh above the North Pole and remaining unmoving there
\nThe star that helped fearless men to navigate the Seas
\nDisplaying bravery and\u00a0fortitude
\nThey expressed their gratitude
\nTo their God, the winds and the Star
\nThat helped them reach lands afar<\/p>\n

Can we think of a world without the Moon and the Stars?
\nWe cannot, we would become lifeless without them
\nEven when there are clouds that hide them
\nWe remember them, bask in their beauty, sing to them
