Our Mounting Needs Are Spoiling the Environment<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh my God, I am a small individual
\nBut with needs that are large and huge
\nI feel pain, and so I call you often
\nI feel it is my duty solemn
\nBe it morning, be it day, be it night
\nBe it dry or be it rainy and wet<\/p>\n

You wonder whether I am calling you
\nOr your many cousins to quench my pain
\nBe it hot and dry or be it rain
\nYou are\u00a0Devta<\/em><\/strong>\u2014 the kind and gracious God (Dev<\/strong>)
\nWith your cousins Agnidev, Varunde<\/em>v,\u00a0Pavandev<\/em><\/p>\n

Agnidev \u2014 the God of Fire<\/em>
\nPavandev \u2014 the God of Breeze<\/em>
\nVarundev \u2014\u00a0the God of Rain<\/em>
\nIndradev\u2014 twin of\u00a0Varundev<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You know when people call you or your cousins
\nHow do you come to know the needs of people
\nPeoples\u2019 minds are complex, complicated
\nTheir needs difficult, their desires fascinated<\/p>\n

No problem\u00a0you say
\nWhen it is cold, people call\u00a0Agnidev<\/em>\u00a0to keep warm
\nWhen dry, bad for crops, they call\u00a0Varundev<\/em>
\nOr his twin\u00a0Indradev<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0to get some rain
\nFor some breeze, people will invite\u00a0Pavandev<\/em><\/p>\n

But what happens when they don\u2019t know whom to call
\nThen the Head of the Gods \u2014\u00a0\u00a0Devta<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0c<\/em>omes to help
\nBoth humanity and the animal world
\nDevta<\/em>\u00a0is gracious, kind to the world<\/p>\n

These days with people spoiling, destroying our environment
\nSome countries having nuclear armament
\nEven\u00a0Devta<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has difficulty maintaining peace by his presence
\nAnd preventing the mounting decadence<\/p>\n

So my friends, know how people are spoiling the environment
\nAnd bothering the Gods by their needs
\nLimit your desires and your needs
\nAnd live peacefully in this, the only world we have<\/p>\n
