Aimed squarely at a controversial <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/latino.foxnews.com\/latino\/politics\/2012\/03\/28\/arizona-official-considers-targeting-mexican-american-studies-in-university\/\"  target=\"_hplink\">Mexican American Studies curriculum in Tucson<\/a> Unified School District accused by conservatives of politicizing the students, state officials told the school board to drop the program or face losing $14 million in funding over the fiscal year.
