29 Oct 2022 – <\/em>The United Nation’s primary job is to end war.\u00a0 It hasn’t worked.\u00a0 It could not prevent the devastating criminal invasion of Iraq by the US, and now it’s Russia against US\/Ukraine.\u00a0 To add to the frustrating madness, US\/NATO promises a future war against China over Taiwan. And despite the new international agreement to prohibit nuclear weapons, nuclear war is feared over the Ukraine crisis.<\/p>\n

The articles selected for DWF NEWS in this edition illustrate serious problems that the UN cannot fix.\u00a0 Take the Cuba story.\u00a0 Despite years and years of the UN majority declaring that the US economic blockade is illegal and wrong, nothing has changed and the people of Cuba continue to suffer.\u00a0 The same situation happens with Israel’s oppression of the Palestinians.<\/p>\n

Despite a new international agreement to prohibit nuclear weapons, a number of nations refuse to comply.\u00a0 And multinational corporations\/Big Money greed appears to be one of the causes of the inflation hurting people around the world.\u00a0 Shutting off Russian gas and oil to Europe is another factor.\u00a0 The UN lacks authority to supervise and regulate opportunistic private capitalism taking advantage of the Ukraine situation.<\/p>\n

The Current UN Geopolitical System Has Reached Crisis Levels<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is the solution to these dilemmas?\u00a0 A small core of world federalist think tanks has developed a strategy which evaluates the flawed UN Charter and compares it to the Constitution for the Federation of Earth<\/em> (aka Earth Constitution).<\/p>\n

THE SAN FRANCISCO PROMISE is the strategy now underway which draws upon the fact that the UN has yet to fulfill the legal requirement of Article 109-3 which requires a review of the UN Charter (see the Center for UN Constitutional Research).<\/p>\n
