He is known for developing the concept of nonkilling. His studies on political leadership and the study of international politics from the decision-making perspective with a case study of President H. Truman&#8217;s decision to involve the United States in the Korean War are well-known.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Glenn-D.-Page.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-202659\" src=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Glenn-D.-Page.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nonkilling Society Paradigm Must be Global<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Glenn D. Paige&#8217;s legacy of scholarship, leadership, creativity, and visionary thinking continues. He was a friend, colleague, mentor, a brilliant scholar of political leadership, author, visionary, futurist. A combat veteran turned peace activist, language scholar, a precocious Princeton, Harvard, Northwestern student who shifted to Hawai&#8217;i where he helped the Governor in 1970 do a 2000 futures study, a study in anticipatory democracy; a most incisive and insightful mind. With a global leadership team, Glenn Paige founded the Center for Global Nonkilling (CGNK) in 2007, an NGO that continues the work toward a world beyond killing and violence every day on every continent in dozens of nations.<\/p>\n<p>Mahalo, Glenn. Paige was known for developing the concept of nonkilling, his studies on political leadership, and the study of international politics from the decision-making perspective with a case study of President Harry S. Truman&#8217;s decision to involve the United States in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Korean_War\" >Korean War<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/bill-bhaneja-e1608095435170.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-175204\" src=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/bill-bhaneja-e1608095435170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Dr. Bill (Balwant) Bhaneja is a former Canadian science diplomat, a member of the T<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/\" >RANSCEND Network for Peace Development Environment<\/a>, and author of six books and scholarly papers on politics and science. He holds a PhD in science policy from UK\u2019s Victoria University of Manchester, currently serves as Senior Advisor to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nonkilling.org\/\" >Center for Global Nonkilling<\/a> in Honolulu-Hawai\u2019i of which he is a founding member, and produces the Nonkilling Arts Research Committee (NKARC)\u00a0 Newsletter. A peace activist, his recent books include:\u00a0<\/em> Troubled\u00a0 Pilgrimage: Passage to Pakistan <em>(TSAR\/Mawenzi,\u00a0 Toronto, 2013);\u00a0<\/em> Quest for Gandhi: A Nonkilling Journey <em>(Center for Global Nonkilling, Hawaii, 2009); and in collaboration with Vijay Tendulkar,<\/em> Two Plays: The Cyclist <em>and<\/em> His Fifth Woman <em>(Oxford University Press (India), New-Delhi, 2006).
