He liked his sharpness. He liked that Julian was not a member of the media club in any way and that he liked his thoughtfulness. He also tells us about his most recent meeting with Julian in Belmarsh prison, just before Christmas. He explains that at one point during the meeting Julian laughed and it was as if &#8216;things might be alright&#8217; but of course they were not.
