Today [23 Dec 2012], I join with a group of colleagues and friends to announce The Freedom of the Press Foundation<\/a>. This new foundation crowd-sources funding for a number of tireless, courageous and underfunded freedom of press organizations, including <\/strong>WikiLeaks<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This is the first time that citizens can offer their financial support to WikiLeaks, since donation processing for the organization was shut down by extra-judicial government pressure on Bank of America, MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, and Amazon in 2010.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re not going to stop us this time.<\/p>\n

Please tell the US government what you think of its attempted financial embargo of Wikileaks, by\u00a0making a donation to the Freedom of Press Foundation today<\/a>. You can choose how much of your money you\u2019d like to go to WikiLeaks.<\/p>\n
