9 Feb 2024 – From the outset on October 7, 2023, \u201cA Tissue of Lies\u201d has served to justify the killings in the Gaza Strip of more than 30,000 civilians, of which 70% are women and children. The atrocities committed against the People of Palestine are beyond description. At the time of writing, at least 13,000 children have been killed.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThat is one Palestinian child killed every 15 minutes<\/a>\u2026 Thousands more are missing under the rubble, most of them are presumed dead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Military operations are invariably planned well in advance.<\/em><\/p>\n

Had \u00a0Hamas\u2019 \u201cOperation Al-Aqsa Storm\u201d been a \u201csurprise attack\u201d as\u00a0parroted by the media, Netanyahu\u2019s\u00a0\u201cState of Readiness For War\u201d<\/strong> could not have been spontaneously carried out (at short notice) on that same day,\u00a0namely October 7, 2023. The \u201cState of Readiness\u201d etiquette (revealed on October 7) points to a carefully prepared plan.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It is now well established that Israel\u2019s Operation \u201cState of Readiness for War\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which consisted in \u201cWiping Gaza Off the Map\u201d<\/strong> was carefully coordinated with U.S. military and intelligence.\u00a0It is part of a broader joint Israel-U.S. military agenda.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Washington not only supports the Genocide, it oversees the International Court of Justice (ICJ).<\/em><\/p>\n

Although South Africa\u2019s legal initiative was directed against the State of Israel, the conduct of the genocide is a joint Israel-U.S. project, with U.S. military and intelligence operatives collaborating directly with their Israeli counterparts.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

This collaboration is also supported by an extensive flow of military aid.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The Criminalization of\u00a0International Law\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What is at stake is the criminalization of the international judicial process.\u00a0<\/strong>The ICJ not only refused to propose a \u201cCease Fire\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, which was part of South Africa\u2019s demand, its January 26, 2024 Judgment failed to question the role of the\u00a0Netanyahu coalition\u00a0government, which was largely responsible for the planning prior to October 7 of a comprehensive military agenda directed against Palestine, with the support of Washington.<\/p>\n

Although the Republic of South Africa\u2019s ICJ accusation was directed against the State of Israel, it is now\u00a0confirmed, amply documented that the Genocide against the People of Palestine was a joint Israel-U.S. operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this regard, the ICJ President Joan Donoghue \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0former Legal Advisor to Secretary of\u00a0State\u00a0Hillary\u00a0Clinton<\/strong> during the Obama\u00a0administration\u2013 is in conflict of interest. <\/strong>The latter indelibly raises the issue of\u00a0her Recusal.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 (See:\u00a0\u00a0Recusals of Arbitrators and Judges in International Courts and Tribunals, Chiara Giorgetti<\/a>).<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Article 2 of the ICJ Statute<\/a>\u00a0(p.212)\u00a0\u201cprovides that the court should be comprised of independent judges\u201d,\u00a0the practice of recusal of a judge, specifically with regard to the President of the ICJ is almost impossible. Nonetheless, the issue of \u201cconflict of interest\u201d must be raised<\/strong>. Judge Joan Donoghue<\/strong> takes her instructions from\u00a0Washington.<\/p>\n
