There was a man who had worked all of his life and had saved all of his money. He was a real miser and loved money more than anything else. He was dying and said to his wife,<\/p>\n

“When I die, I want you to put all my money in the coffin with me. I want to take it to the afterlife.”<\/p>\n

He made her promise ans swear it.<\/p>\n

He died, was placed in the casket. His wife was sitting there in black with her girlfriend sitting next to her.<\/p>\n

When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, she said, “Wait a minute!” She had a box, walked over and put it in the casket right before the final curtain.<\/p>\n

Then the undertakers locked the coffin and rolled it away. Her girlfriend was startled: “Girl, I know you weren’t fool enough to put all that money in there with your dead husband!”<\/p>\n

She said, “Listen, I believe in God. I can’t go back on my word. I promised him that I was gonna put the money in the casket with him.”<\/p>\n

“You mean to tell me you really put his money in the coffin!?<\/p>\n

“I sure did,” said the wife. “I wrote him a check.”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
