23 Oct 2024 – CNN says an IDF soldier has suffered trauma because he had to run over too many Palestinians with his D9 armored bulldozer. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

CNN says<\/a> an IDF soldier has suffered trauma
\nbecause he had to run over too many Palestinians
\nwith his D9 armored bulldozer.
\nSays he can\u2019t eat meat anymore
\nbecause he had to drive over so much human meat
\n(he actually called it \u201cmeat\u201d)
\nand it reminds him of all the blood and guts
\nand bones and tissue that would come squirting out
\nwhen he ran over them.<\/p>\n

Poor IDF soldier,
\ncan\u2019t even enjoy a Big Mac anymore,
\ncan\u2019t even bite into a big juicy McGenocide burger,
\ncan\u2019t even masticate a mouthful of gore
\nwithout being haunted by visions
\nof human torsos and skulls spurting guts and brains
\nas he plowed over them \u201cdead and alive\u201d
\nin the killing fields of Gaza.
\nCan\u2019t even enjoy his Children McNuggets
\nwithout remembering all the kids he killed,
\nall the tiny bodies,
\nshredded bodies,
\nbulldozed bodies,
\nbody parts packed into the treads of the bulldozer,
\ngetting caught in the works,
\nhaving to pull them out by hand because by golly
\nwe need to use it some more tomorrow.<\/p>\n

And the CNN man says
\nSo sad! So sad!
\nA man\u2019s got to have his meat.
\nGot to bite into it,
\nfeel it dribbling down his chin,
\nhear it screaming and begging for help,
\nhear it crying out for its mother one last time
\nand then nothing but snapping and crunching
\nand chewing and swallowing
\nand washing it down with hard liquor
\nto kill off the feelings in his chest,
\nthe feelings that won\u2019t ever go away,
\nthat pound like mortar fire when he awakens from red dreams
\nabout screaming and spurting and crunching and popping,
\nand remembers that he used to be an innocent young child
\nlike the tiny red ghosts who haunt his nights.<\/p>\n

And we live the McGenocide too, don\u2019t we?
\nWe live it right alongside him here in this crazy country
\nwhere we laugh and joke and eat buckets of meat slop
\nwhile our government turns humans into bulldozer mince in Gaza.
\nGrinning Black Hole Sun grins with meat dribbling down our chins
\nwhile the sky turns red and the birds turn into Reaper drones,
\ngiggling at our podcasts and getting mad at the Uber Eats driver
\nfor being five minutes late with our next plate full of carnage.<\/p>\n

And we have the nightmares too, don\u2019t we?
\nWaking trembling with terror at what we\u2019ve allowed,
\nwhat we\u2019ve helped make possible,
\nwhat we tacitly consent to while we distract ourselves
\nwith smartphones and streaming services and porn and gossip
\nand the ridiculous fake election for America\u2019s next fake president
\nand plate after plate of bleeding red meat.<\/p>\n

Our teeth grow sharper and our hearts grow harder,
\nand the smoke stacks fill the air with a horrifying stench.
\nIn this genocide town,
\nthis ghost town,
\nthis meat town,
\nit\u2019s essential to learn how to drown out the feelings
\nand bark and bray at the blood red moon until dawn
\nbecause it beats the hell out of sleeping
\nand dreaming
\nand remembering,
\nremembering what we have done,
\nand where we are going,
\nand what we have become,
\nand what we are still becoming.<\/p>\n
