This is due to two key factors:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The Lunar Connection<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Easter\u2019s date is determined by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Spring Equinox <a href=\"#_edn8\" name=\"_ednref8\">[8]<\/a>(March 20\/21)<\/strong>: Marks astronomical spring in the Northern Hemisphere.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The First Full Moon After the Equinox<\/strong>: In 2025, this falls on\u00a0<strong>April 13<\/strong>\u00a0(the\u00a0<em>Paschal Full Moon<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Following Sunday<\/strong>: Hence, Easter is\u00a0<strong>April 20<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The &#8220;Delay&#8221; Compared to 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>In 2024, the first post-equinox full moon was\u00a0<strong>March 25<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192 Easter landed on\u00a0<strong>March 31<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In 2025, the full moon is\u00a0<strong>April 13<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192 Easter shifts to\u00a0<strong>April 20<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reason<\/strong>: The lunar cycle (29.5 days) and solar year (365.25 days) don\u2019t sync perfectly, causing Easter\u2019s date to &#8220;wander&#8221; between\u00a0<strong>March 22 and April 25<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> The Gregorian Calendar\u2019s Role <a href=\"#_edn9\" name=\"_ednref9\">[9]<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Gregorian calendar (1582)<\/strong>\u00a0fixed Easter\u2019s calculation after the\u00a0<strong>Julian calendar\u2019s drift<\/strong>\u00a0had misaligned equinox dates. In Christian theology, this title is commonly associated with Jesus Christ, who is seen as the fulfilment of Isaiah\u2019s prophecy. Christians believe Jesus is the divine &#8220;Prince of Peace&#8221; who brings spiritual reconciliation between humanity and God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prince of Peace&#8221; is a messianic title from the Book of Isaiah, used in Biblical times to describe a future leader who would establish peace and divine justice. Just as the ancient world awaited a saviour to bring order out of chaos, <strong>our bodies seek internal harmony<\/strong>, a peace governed by the silent work of our microbiome.<\/li>\n<li>When we treat our microbiota with respect, through nutrition, rest, and mindful choices, we <strong>honour the divine design<\/strong> of inner peace.<\/li>\n<li>Perhaps, in this way, each of us can become a <strong>microcosm of the Prince of Peace<\/strong>, radiating balance, well-being, and care from within.<\/li>\n<li>Blending faith, science, and healing into a message that resonates in both the sanctuary and the clinic. Easter is the perfect time to share this, too, a season of renewal, resurrection, and inner peace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The title\u00a0&#8220;Prince of Peace&#8221;\u00a0for Jesus Christ originates from the prophetic scriptures of the\u00a0Old Testament, specifically from the book of\u00a0Isaiah 9:6<a href=\"#_edn20\" name=\"_ednref20\">[20]<\/a>, where it is written:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. It\u2019s a spiritually rich season observed by many Christian denominations, especially Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, and Orthodox Christians, with some variations across traditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Lent?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lent<\/strong> is a <strong>40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance<\/strong> leading up to <strong>Easter Sunday<\/strong>, commemorating the <strong>40 days Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness<\/strong>, where he was tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1\u201311). It&#8217;s a time for Christians to reflect on Jesus&#8217; sacrifice, deepen their spiritual lives, and prepare for the celebration of His resurrection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday<\/strong> (the day before Easter).
