They were ready and all dressed up as the taxi arrived.<\/p>\n<p>But as they get out, the cat jumps back inside the house. They don&#8217;t want the cat locked inside, so the woman waits in the car while her husband goes chase it out.<\/p>\n<p>The wife, not wanting the driver to know that the house will be empty, tells him: &#8220;He&#8217;s just going to say goodbye to my mother.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A few minutes later the husband gets back into the cab -&#8220;Sorry I took so long&#8221; he says, &#8220;Stupid old thing was hiding under the bed and I had to poke her with a broomstick to get her to come out!&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A couple were going out for the evening.
