It is easy to miss the cloud reflections in the puddles
\nwhen the drones are perching on the telephone wires
\nand boats are exploding off the coast of Venezuela.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy not to notice the flirtatiousness of the wind
\nwhen there is black smoke over Palestine
\nand everything\u2019s coated in oil.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to overlook the electricality in our bodies
\nwhen the billionaires and bank boys
\nare trying to replace our minds with chatbots.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let them trick you into forgetting the moon,
\nor the dragon eggs incubating in your ribcage.
\nDon\u2019t let them trick you into exchanging your heartbeat
\nfor an algorithm and a memecoin.
\nThere are still birds in the skies of this world.
\nThere are accordion angels playing in the ruins.<\/p>\n

Though at times it may feel like a giraffe bleeding to death
\nin an abandoned Presbyterian church
\nin a forgotten factory town
\nwith faded billboards and faded eyes,
\nbeneath the click clack marching of the robot dogs,
\nthere is still birdsong.<\/p>\n
