In addition to Moshe Yaalon, all of the following people would face disciplinary action for antisemitic remarks if they were college students today at Harvard, Columbia, Oxford, and many others: 1. David Ben-Gurion. He was the leader of the Zionist movement from the 1930s onwards & was the first Prime Minister of Israel, chiefly responsible for expelling ~750,000 Palestinians from their homes in 1948. David Ben Gurion \u201cregularly\u201d liked Menachem Begin to Hitler, thus rendering him an antisemite according to the IHRA definition of antisemitism (https:\/\/jstor.org\/stable\/30245767<\/a><\/p>\n

) 2. Albert Einstein. In 1948, he described the Israeli political party Herut as a \u201cpolitical party closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy & social appeal to Nazi and fascist parties.\u201d According to the IHRA definition, that makes him an antisemite. ) 3. Hannah Arendt. She co-authored the open letter to the New York Times cited above, also signed by Einstein, which described the Israeli political party of Herut as closely akin to Nazism. https:\/\/marxists.org\/reference\/archive\/einstein\/1948\/12\/02.htm<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Theodor Herzl. Founder of political Zionism. In 1897, he published a pamphlet called \u201cMauschel\u201d (derogatory term for \u201cJew\u201d). 5. Yair Golan. p. 24) 7. Max Nordau. He was Herzl\u2019s right-hand man. He wrote many best-selling works in the 1880s (Conventional Lies of Our Civilization and Paradoxes) that are replete with antisemitic portrayals of the body of \u201cthe Jew\u201d as circumcised & diseased, especially with leprosy. He also believed Jews were a race and different races had different inherent abilities (Jews apparently excelled at politics because of their realistic shrewdness). He believed Jews from Arab & Muslim lands, as well as Indian Jews, Algerian nomadic Jews and Black Jews, were culturally, spiritually and intellectually inferior. 9. Ze\u2019ev Jabotinsky. Leader of the right-wing Zionists. described Jews as ugly, sickly & lacking decorum. They were trodden upon, easily frightened, accepted submission and wanted to conceal their identity. 10. The Israeli soldier who said he felt like a \u201cNazi\u201d while stationed in Gaza during the First Intifada (1987-1993) is also an antisemite for comparing himself to a Nazi.
