The Story about Fast-tracked Vaccination Fiascos – and Others yet to Come<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the fall of 1976, dozens of North Americans died within 48 hours of receiving the fast-tracked swine flu vaccine<\/strong> that had been promoted by the Gerald Ford administration. To allay the public fears that threatened to unravel the mass inoculation program, President Gerald Ford<\/strong> rolled up his shirtsleeve and received his shot (inexpertly injected into his left triceps muscle!) in front of the television cameras.<\/em><\/p>\n

More than 40 million others followed the president\u2019s lead. But two months later, the campaign was abruptly stopped: More deaths had followed and thousands more victims were reporting serious side effects, including the paralysis that accompanies Guillain-Barre Syndrome.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, ex-Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton<\/strong> and \u201cOperation Warp-Speed\u201d Donald Trump<\/strong> are \u201ccourageously\u201d offering to take any or all of the coronavirus vaccines, on nation-wide television, to defuse the natural hesitancy that thinking people naturally have about Big Pharma\u2019s still-experimental, fast-tracked Covid-19 vaccines. (No mention has been made if these uniformly vaccinology-illiterate ex-Presidents<\/strong> were also willing to go along with the mandates to force their own relatives, children or grandchildren to also get vaccinated with the potentially dangerous vaccines.)<\/p>\n

Four decades ago, on March 24, 1976, President Gerald Ford<\/strong> (one of the \u201cdimmest bulbs\u201d ever to occupy the US White House) announced another fast-tracked (swine flu) immunization program in the White House Press Briefing Room.<\/p>\n

The person with the toxic syringe was vaccinology-illiterate White House physician Dr William Lukash \u2013 who likely never actually vaccinated any patient in his entire professional life.<\/p>\n

When Mike Wallace and CBS\u2019s 60 Minutes (from 1979) Still Had Guts \u2013 and television journalists weren\u2019t yet totally controlled by Big Pharma)<\/p>\n

Remember Vaccine Rule # 1: NEVER <\/b>allow any vaccinology-illiterate healthcare practitioner to inject into your muscles\u00a0<\/b>ANY vaccine <\/b>(ESPECIALLY those with DNA or RNA in them) whose ingredients have not been thoroughly, independently tested. For the future health of each of us AND the planet, ALL vaccines need to be thoroughly tested for:<\/p>\n

    NO VACCINE that has been fast-tracked by <\/b>any of the many corrupted <\/b>pharmaceutical entities <\/b>(like the <\/b>Big Pharma-controlled government agencies like the NIH,<\/b> the CDC, the NIAID, the FDA<\/b>) or ANY of the hundreds of for-profit Big Pharma corporations that have achieved essentially total control over Big Media, Big Government and Big Medicine.<\/p>\n

    More than 40 million na\u00efve Americans followed his lead. But two months later, the campaign was abruptly stopped: More deaths had occurred and hundreds were reporting serious side effects, including permanent, incurable paralysis.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe\u2019re all reviewing the process that took place in 1976 to understand the lessons learned,\u201d said Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). \u201cWe may, as a nation, be faced with a similar decision about how to address a flu pandemic.<\/p>\n

    If there was a single factor behind the debacle over four decades ago, it was the speed of the decision making, fueled by a political climate in which dissenters were chastised and punished, as government records show.<\/p>\n

    Mistakes Were Made<\/b><\/h2>\n

    \u201cThey moved too quickly. Mistakes were made,\u201d said Dr. Harvey Feinberg, director of the Institute of Medicine<\/i><\/b>, who investigated the scandal for the federal government. \u201cPeople had vivid memories of the 1918 flu epidemic, of young people (actually, young, experimentally-vaccinated mostly World War I military recruits \u2013 GGK) <\/i>dropping dead. It colored everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Production and field-testing of the vaccine was rushed. Among other problems, the single-shot doses that were produced did not work on children. Vaccine production was shut down by the time the errors were caught, and it was too late to produce second doses.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe first thing we learned is that this must be done in a step-by-step fashion. There are points along the way that you need to build in where people can say \u2018yes\u2019 or \u201cno’\u201d to allow for adjustments,\u201d said Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases). \u201cIn 1976, it was like a choo-choo train.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The Fast-Tracked Swine Flu Affair of 1976<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Just weeks after health officials had identified the swine flu strain at Fort Dix,<\/b> an Army training center in New Jersey. It was largely contained there, and within months \u2014 before the first shot was given \u2014 it was thought by most medical officials to no longer be a pandemic threat.<\/p>\n

    The production of the vaccine was also fast-tracked<\/i><\/b>. And when hundreds of Americans began developing Guillain-Barre Syndrome,<\/i><\/b> the neurological disorder that can cause paralysis, experts blamed the speedy development.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Robin Robinson, a director at the Department of HHS (Health and Human Services)<\/b> who oversees pandemic responses, said that even as officials take steps to develop a swine flu vaccine with sufficient doses for every \u201cman, woman and child\u201d, those plans would be dialed back if the pandemic \u201cfizzles out\u201d.<\/p>\n

    But watchdog groups fear a repeat, particularly because laws passed after the anthrax attacks of 2001 allowed for accelerated production and field tests of a vaccine when an emergency is declared<\/b><\/i>.<\/b><\/p>\n

    On October 24, 2009, the Obama administration declared the spread of swine flu was a public health emergency.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

    \u201cWe don\u2019t want them unnecessarily speeding up field tests,\u201d said Barbara Low Fisher<\/b>, president of the non-profit National Vaccine Information Center<\/b>, which frequently criticizes vaccine policy. \u201cThere are many reasons to be concerned if they take this path.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Federal Drug Administration<\/b> spokeswoman Mary Long said it was too early to say whether a vaccine would be developed on an accelerated timetable, \u201cbut there is flexibility\u201d to do so, given the public emergency declaration.<\/p>\n

    Even if the production is not accelerated, Wenzel and others say decisions about vaccine production, distribution and risks need to be clearly spelled out to the public.<\/p>\n

    \u201cTalk to Americans like you are sitting with them at the kitchen table,\u201d he said. \u201cDisclose the risks.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

    The Importance of Informed Consent<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Warren Cikins, a Fairfax County resident who believes his life was dramatically altered by the last swine flu scare, gives the same advice.<\/p>\n

    Just three weeks after receiving his flu shot decades ago, Cikins suffered his first in a series of autoimmune disorders<\/i><\/b>, temporary blindness in his right eye, which lasted for a year. That was followed by permanent back problems, along with colitis, he said.<\/p>\n

    Cikins, a former county supervisor, is certain that his ailments were related to the shots, although he was never able to prove that.<\/p>\n

    This time around, Cikins said, the government should disclose the risks of getting vaccinated balanced against those of getting the flu.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI am angry,\u201d he said. \u201cThey knew a certain percentage of us would suffer serious repercussions, and they withheld this from us<\/i><\/b>. They need to let people make an informed decision.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The federal government ultimately reached court settlements with hundreds of victims who said the 1976 vaccine caused neurological problems. In its final reckoning, the government counted 25 deaths associated with the shots.<\/p>\n

    In the medical community, however, there is some disagreement about the rate of adverse reactions. Wenzel saidneurological disorders showed up at a rate seven times higher than with regular flu vaccines.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

    There is much more to be learned about the many dangers of vaccination campaigns, especially those promoted by entities that have ulterior motives and power and wealth to be earned. A word of warning to the wise should be sufficient.<\/p>\n
