He instructed the Postmaster General that it should be of top international quality. The stamps were duly released, and Imelda was pleased.<\/p>\n<p>However, Marcos heard that the stamp was not sticking properly. He was furious and ordered General Ver to investigate the matter. General Ver checked several post offices and then reported back to the president:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. President, the stamp is really of international top quality.
