Photograph: Didier Jouret\/EPA<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Notorious French comedian Dieudonn\u00e9 M\u2019bala M\u2019bala has been arrested for being an \u201capologist for terrorism\u201d after suggesting on Facebook that he sympathised with one of the Paris gunmen, a judicial source has said.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors had opened the case against him on Monday [12 Jan 2015] after he wrote \u201cTonight, as far as I\u2019m concerned, I feel like Charlie Coulibaly\u201d \u2013 mixing the slogan \u201cJe suis Charlie\u201d, used in tribute to the journalists killed at magazine Charlie Hebdo, with a reference to gunman Am\u00e9dy Coulibaly. Dieudonn\u00e9 was arrested on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Coulibaly killed four people at a Jewish supermarket on Friday and a police officer the day before.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian made international headlines in 2013 when French footballer Nicolas Anelka was banned for five matches by English football authorities for using a gesture created by Dieudonn\u00e9 that many consider to echo the Nazi salute.<\/p>\n<p>Dieudonn\u00e9 posted his controversial Facebook post after attending Sunday\u2019s unity march against extremism that brought more than 1.5 million people on to the streets of Paris in the wake of the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>He described the march \u2013 considered the biggest rally in modern French history \u2013 as \u201ca magical moment comparable to the big bang\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The French government has in the past banned Dieudonn\u00e9\u2019s shows because it considers them \u201cantisemitic\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dieudonn\u00e9 has removed the remark from his Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2015\/jan\/14\/dieudonne-arrest-facebook-post-charlie-coulibaly-paris-gunman\" >Go to Original \u2013 theguardian.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>French comedian accused of justifying terrorism after linking attacker to tribute slogan by writing \u2018I feel like Charlie Coulibaly\u2019.
