I am not in your war anymore.
\nSurely we cannot paint war green
\nwhen even the long Cold War is dying,
\nso let’s paint it in all its true
\nfoliage colors, to help its fall<\/p>\n

First, flowing flamboyant crimson blood
\non throbbing temples and hands,
\nthen russet bronze fiery metal cartridges
\nstuffing the crevices of young hearts
\nwhile golden laser Napalm dragon tongues
\ngluttonously lick the sizzling eyes and lips
\nof our children, under
\ngiant mushrooms
\nfreshened by mustard and acid rain
\nSurely, at the close of our
\ngreat atomic century
\nwe will soon find the archaic
\nhistory tree, where we can dump
\nour fearful bottle legacy<\/p>\n

And our grandchildren
\nwill ask their fathers,
\nwhat were tanks for, Pa?
\nAnd with eyes full of wonder,
\nthey will read the story of the
\nglorious imprisonment
\nof the Nuclear Giant
\nin his bottle, corked for ever,
\nand will say –
\nWell done Pa, well done Ma!<\/p>\n
