{"id":76390,"date":"2016-07-18T12:00:51","date_gmt":"2016-07-18T11:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/?p=76390"},"modified":"2016-07-14T18:33:35","modified_gmt":"2016-07-14T17:33:35","slug":"slings-and-arrows-bernie-sanders-plays-the-bard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.transcend.org\/tms\/2016\/07\/slings-and-arrows-bernie-sanders-plays-the-bard\/","title":{"rendered":"Slings and Arrows: Bernie Sanders Plays the Bard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Sanders<\/em>: <em>(At the ramparts; in the shadows; a windy night&#8211;)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To be or not to be\u2014that is the question!<br \/>\nWhether \u2018tis nobler in the mind to suffer<br \/>\nthe slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or<br \/>\nto take arms against a sea of Hillaries<br \/>\nand, by opposing, end them!<\/p>\n<p>To die, to sleep\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>Life\u2019s but a walking shadow\u2014a poor player<br \/>\nthat struts and frets his moment upon the stage<br \/>\nand then is heard no more.<br \/>\nIt is a tale told by an idiot: full of sound and fury,<br \/>\nsignifying nothing!<\/p>\n<p>To die, to sleep; to sleep: perchance to dream!<br \/>\nAye, there\u2019s the rub, for in that sleep of death<br \/>\nwhat dreams may come when we have shuffled off<br \/>\nthis mortal coil, must give us pause.<\/p>\n<p>If it were done when \u2018tis done, \u2018tis better it were done quickly!<br \/>\nSeen, but unseen.\u00a0 Noted, but un-noted.<\/p>\n<p>Is this a dagger which I see before me\u2014<br \/>\nthe handle towards my hand?<br \/>\nCome, let me clutch thee!<\/p>\n<p>I played my part, and now am ready to depart.<\/p>\n<p>Blow winds and crack your cheeks! rage! blow!<br \/>\nYou cataracts and hurricanoes, spout!<\/p>\n<p>All my pretty ones? Did you say all?<br \/>\nNoble youths who lent their ears<br \/>\n(not to mention time and money)\u2014<br \/>\nam I to shuffle off to Buffalo, unfriend them?<\/p>\n<p>Have I been out-Trumped?<br \/>\n(He doth bestride the narrow world like a Collosus!)<br \/>\nOut-Foxed by one \u201cextremely careless\u201d?<br \/>\nOh, what Ailes me now?\u00a0 What Ailes us all?<\/p>\n<p>But, soft, what light through yonder window breaks?<br \/>\nIt is the East&#8211;and Jill Stein is the sun!<\/p>\n<p>Oh, I am fortune\u2019s fool!<\/p>\n<p>The time is out of joint!
