2014\u00a0 <\/strong>Air Alg\u00e9rie Flight 5017<\/a>\u00a0loses contact with air traffic controllers 50 minutes after takeoff. It was travelling between\u00a0Ouagadougou<\/a>,\u00a0Burkina Faso<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Algiers<\/a>\u00a0with 116 people on board. The wreckage is later found in\u00a0Mali<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2013\u00a0 <\/strong>A\u00a0high-speed train derails<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Spain<\/a>\u00a0rounding a curve with an 80\u00a0km\/h (50\u00a0mph) speed limit at 190\u00a0km\/h (120\u00a0mph), killing 78 passengers.<\/p>\n

2001<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Bandaranaike Airport attack<\/a> is carried out by 14 Tamil Tiger<\/a> commandos, all died in this attack. They destroyed 11 Aircraft (mostly military) and damaged 15, there are no civilian casualties. This incident slowed down Sri Lankan<\/a> economy.<\/p>\n
