In 1969, when I was a student of psychology at Brandeis University, I met my spiritual teacher, Srila Prabhupada. In 1970, after studying with him for a year and a half, I went with him to India, and I was based there for the next thirty years. And in 1977 he taught us by his example how to leave the world in proper consciousness.
