A debate is currently trending amongst the American political left: a new strategy to force a vote on Medicare for All in the House of Representatives. The main argument proposed by the #ForceTheVote movement is that the present sociopolitical context is the right moment for a vote on Medicare for All. The US is in the middle of a deadly pandemic where over 324K have died of Covid-19, some 15 million have lost their health care coverage, and many more are on the brink of homelessness.
