See you soon…

JOKE OF THE WEEK, 26 Dec 2011

Dietrich Fischer – TRANSCEND Media Service

A couple from New York agreed to take a week vacation together in Florida.

The week before, the wife presented a paper at a conference in Chicago, and she was supposed to join her husband in Florida the day after her conference was over.  Due to a snowstorm at Chicago airport, her flight was delayed by one day, but she could not inform her husband.

He waited in vain, and finally found out that her flight had been delayed by a day.  So he sent her an email, “Honey, my trip down here was quite uneventful.  It is really hot down here, but not bad overall.  I have just found out that you will be joining me here tomorrow.”

Due to a spelling error in the email address, the message went instead to the widow of a reverend who had recently died.  When she read the message, she fainted. 8)
