Francisco Gomes de Matos – TRANSCEND Media Service

A Rhymed Reflection Dedicated to Litang Cui

Democracy is not only an organizational  dream
For Global Citizenship it is a freedom-fostering necessity
Though challengingly complex democratic goals seem
Democracy is a politically-elevating system for dignity
Democracy  is not only a collective sharing of responsibility
For a balance between people and power it could be a peaceful song
Though  democratic systems differ in how they treat the worth of individuality
Democracy could always inspire people everywhere dignifyingly to get along
