JOKE OF THE WEEK, 31 Dec 2018

Dietrich Fischer – TRANSCEND Media Service

President George W. Bush was on a state visit in England. As he stepped off the plane onto the red carpet, he was greeted by the Queen. They were flown to downtown London by helicopter and entered a gold-plated carriage drawn by six white horses that brought them to Buckingham Palace. On the way, one of the horses, which had been fed a little too much oats, released some gas, making a big noise. The queen apologized profusely:

“I am terribly sorry; this is so embarrassing, it should never have happened!”

W. replied,

“Don’t worry, it’s no problem. In fact, if you had not said anything, I would have bet it was one of the horses.”
