Frozen Berries

Frozen berries

Frozen strands of beads,
Looking like crimson pearls.
The sun is never seen.
Hidden?
Or gone away?
Or is the season over?
Is it the shifting tides?
Snow covered the berries.
Or was it cherries?
Cast now in white snow.
The cherry has lost its glow.
The flakes of snow, nothing seems to grow.
The winter puts on a gleaming show.
The beauty of nature can be seen in frost and snow.

Frost – Winter
